AI Platform Engineer

Salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience designing and supporting cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Experience with containerised applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Python for automation and scripting.
• Good understanding of cloud-native architecture, APIs and microservices.
• Experience with vector search technologies such as OpenSearch is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry or Azure AI Foundry is desirable, though not essential.
• We are also open to experienced Azure Platform, Cloud or DevOps Engineers looking to build expertise in enterprise AI.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and operate AI platform infrastructure across Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and optimise RAG pipelines, AI services and platform components.
• Deploy infrastructure using Terraform and support containerised applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Improve observability, monitoring and platform resilience.
• Support vector search, embedding pipelines and knowledge ingestion.
• Apply security and governance best practice across the AI platform.
