Solution Architect (Bloomreach SME)

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require proven hands-on experience delivering solutions using Bloomreach CMS.
• We require demonstrable experience implementing and managing headless CMS architectures.
• We require a strong understanding of API-based content delivery and integration approaches.
• We require experience migrating content from multiple websites, digital estates, or legacy CMS platforms.
• We require solid knowledge of content governance, publishing workflows, and content lifecycle management.
• We require experience working in agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• We require strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• We require experience supporting large-scale website transformation or consolidation initiatives.
• We require BPSS security clearance; SC eligibility is desirable.
• Healthcare, public sector, or other highly regulated environment experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of content migration tools and methodologies is desirable.
• Understanding of search optimisation, content discovery, and digital governance practices is desirable.
• Experience defining enterprise-level content architecture and taxonomy strategies is desirable.
• Exposure to complex digital transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholder groups is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We will configure, implement, and optimise Bloomreach CMS as a headless content management platform.
• We will support the migration and consolidation of multiple websites and content repositories into a single digital ecosystem.
• We will design and implement content models, taxonomies, metadata structures, and information architectures.
• We will establish and support content governance frameworks, publishing workflows, and approval processes.
• We will provide expertise in API-driven content delivery, integration patterns, and headless architecture best practices.
• We will work with architects, developers, content teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to support successful delivery.
• We will support agile ways of working through backlog refinement, sprint planning, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
• We will identify opportunities to improve content management efficiency, scalability, and user experience across the organisations digital estate.

We are seeking an experienced Bloomreach Consultant for a significant website consolidation programme at a large UK healthcare organisation. The role will help consolidate multiple websites into a unified digital estate and establish scalable content models, governance standards, and publishing processes. It is a high-profile digital transformation opportunity in a complex, regulated environment. The initial contract is six months, home-based with occasional UK travel—approximately once per month—for workshops, stakeholder meetings, and client engagements. The rate is £580 per day inside IR35.
