Infrastructure Engineer (ZTNA)

Salary: £44,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for hands-on engineering experience with ZTNA, remote access, or identity-aware access technologies across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Were looking for demonstrable experience in cloud network security, preferably Azure and GCP.
• We value strong automation and scripting skills, with Python preferred.

• Professional cloud certifications and security, identity, or network engineering accreditations would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Design, evolve, and operate our ZTNA platforms to protect access to critical applications and services using identity-aware and context-driven security controls.
• Use modern engineering practices, including automation and secure-by-default design, to improve resilience, performance, and security.
• Engineer new capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and policy-as-code approaches.
• Drive platform modernisation and improve observability and telemetry.
• Support major incident diagnostics and embed Zero Trust principles.
• Produce high-quality engineering documentation.
• Participate in the on-call rota to support the operational resilience of critical access services.
• Help shape technical direction, raise engineering standards, and develop our ZTNA and wider Zero Trust capabilities.
