Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant

Salary: £36,500 - 64,500 per year

Requirements:

• Salesforce Certified Education Cloud Consultant certification and Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Experience delivering Salesforce implementation programmes in a consultant, business analyst or functional consultant role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Education Cloud and experience working with higher education institutions or education-focused transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of the student lifecycle, including recruitment, admissions, enrolment, retention, student support and alumni engagement.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders at multiple levels, and supporting data migration, integration and change adoption activities.
• Understanding of Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD practices, including source control, release management and tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Copado or Gearset.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and consulting skills, with a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach to complex challenges.
• Desirable certifications include Business Analyst, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, AI Associate, Agentforce Specialist or Platform Developer I.
• Experience delivering solutions across the Salesforce platform, including Experience Cloud and Service Cloud; exposure to Data Cloud, Agentforce or Marketing Cloud is advantageous.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms using MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Boomi or similar middleware.
• Exposure to AI-enabled customer, student or employee engagement solutions.
• Experience with higher education platforms such as Tribal SITS, Ellucian Banner, Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard, and reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in consulting, systems integration or professional services is desirable.
• Passion for helping universities transform the student experience; curiosity, commercial awareness, adaptability, collaboration and a commitment to delivery excellence and lasting client value.
• Ability to build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders and interest in helping grow a Salesforce Higher Education practice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering, discovery workshops and stakeholder engagement across higher education transformation programmes.
• Design and deliver Salesforce Education Cloud solutions for recruitment, admissions, enrolment, student success, wellbeing and alumni engagement.
• Challenge existing processes, identify improvement opportunities and define future-state operating models with clients.
• Configure and implement Salesforce solutions in collaboration with architects, developers and delivery teams.
• Support programmes using the wider Salesforce ecosystem, including Experience Cloud, Service Cloud and other platform capabilities.
• Help clients establish connected digital ecosystems by integrating Salesforce with student record systems, learning management systems, identity management platforms and enterprise applications.
• Support data migration, data quality and governance activities to promote platform adoption and long-term business value.
• Build trusted client relationships by advising on Salesforce capabilities, industry best practice and platform strategy.
• Contribute to bids, proposals, demonstrations and client presentations to help grow our Salesforce Higher Education practice.
• Develop reusable assets and delivery accelerators that improve delivery quality and strengthen our reputation in the higher education sector.
• Share knowledge and support the development of junior team members where appropriate.
