IT Technician

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, routing and switching
• Experience with IT security and firewalls/filtering
• Experience with Windows Server environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Experience with Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with virtualisation
• Experience with storage and backup solutions
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Experience with VoIP and SIP technologies
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to confidently support users with varying levels of technical knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support to users across the business
• Act as the first point of contact for internal IT queries and issues
• Manage and maintain our network infrastructure and hardware
• Maintain and administer our Microsoft 365 environment
• Monitor the performance, reliability and security of our IT systems
• Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Recommend improvements to our existing systems, processes and infrastructure
• Support the ongoing development and improvement of our internal IT systems
• Oversee and contribute to the continued development of our CRM
• Work closely with senior management on IT requirements and future projects
• Provide IT support across our three Cheshire offices, with some travel between locations required

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Internal IT Specialist to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role with the opportunity to take ownership of internal IT within a growing business and help improve our systems as we continue to develop. We offer a salary up to £32,000 depending on experience, Monday to Friday hours from 8:45am to 5:15pm, and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
