IT Asset Manager ITIL

Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in IT asset management or IT operations, ideally in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience in a large regulated financial services environment, preferably banking or insurance.
• Experience building out frameworks in a greenfield environment rather than only working in BAU.
• Detail-oriented and compliance-driven approach.
• Ability to take ownership of the lifecycle process for physical IT assets.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the lifecycle process for physical IT assets within our banking business.
• Lead the transformation of our hardware asset management function across EMEA.
• Ensure full lifecycle governance, audit readiness, and cost optimisation.
• Build out frameworks in a greenfield environment.
• Help strengthen our technology governance and resilience.
• Support the development of a Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management aligned with global standards and regulatory frameworks such as DORA.
