C Developer

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience in software development in C++ including modern standards, third-party/open source software such as boost, performance-focused coding, and concurrency techniques.
• We require detailed knowledge of Linux development, including build systems, tools, compilers, kernel, and drivers.
• We require knowledge of computer networking and deep packet inspection, particularly TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, and tunnelling protocols such as GTP, MPLS, and L2TP.
• We require familiarity with complementary languages and technologies such as Ruby, Python, Puppet, and Bash.
• We require experience working in an Agile scrum team and with supporting tooling such as Jira.
• We require experience remotely diagnosing and troubleshooting systems in support.
• We require a willingness to work onsite in Manchester.
• We require eligibility to meet security and export control restrictions, including achieving Baseline Personnel Security Standard and, where applicable, higher levels of National Security Vetting.
