Infrastructure Engineering Manager

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need proven experience managing technical or infrastructure engineering teams.
• We need strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• We need a background in infrastructure operations, platform engineering, or IT services.
• We need experience working within Agile, Scrum, ITIL, or SDLC environments.
• We need strong organisational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• We need confidence working within complex, multi-disciplinary technology environments.
• Desirable certifications include ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Cisco, VMware, and Microsoft 365.
• We need candidates who can obtain UK Security Clearance (SC Level) prior to appointment.

Responsibilities:

• We lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers.
• We conduct performance reviews, career development plans, and regular 1-2-1s.
• We support recruitment, onboarding, and skills development.
• We manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and workforce optimisation.
• We provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects and operational services.
• We contribute to problem-solving, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• We build strong relationships with stakeholders across project and operational teams.
• We ensure engineering standards, processes, and best practices are maintained.
