Technical Project Manager
Job Description
Salary: £32,000 - 37,000 per year
Requirements:- We require demonstrable experience working within the professional LED display industry and a strong understanding of the technologies, equipment and operational requirements associated with LED display systems.
- We require a minimum of 2 years experience working with commercial LED display systems.
- We require proven experience installing, commissioning, operating and maintaining LED display hardware.
- We require strong technical knowledge of LED perimeter advertising systems, stadium displays, scoreboards, digital signage and large-format LED screens.
- We require experience working at live sporting events, football stadiums or major entertainment venues.
- We require knowledge of LED processors, sending and receiving cards, media servers, video processors and content management systems.
- We require experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and networking issues relating to LED display systems.
- We require hands-on experience leading technical installation teams on-site and remotely.
- We require experience planning and managing multiple installation and maintenance projects simultaneously.
- We require strong managerial leadership from crew scheduling through to delivery.
- We require a strong understanding of electrical systems, structured cabling, fibre optic infrastructure and data networking associated with LED installations.
- We require experience managing technical teams, subcontractors and freelance engineers.
- We require excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- We require a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and internationally.
- We require willingness to travel weekly.
- Desirable: experience working with major rental/fixed LED integration or international sporting events.
- Desirable: manufacturer training or certification on LED display systems.
- Desirable: IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification.
- Desirable: electrical qualification (18th Edition or equivalent).
- Desirable: IPAF, PASMA or Working at Height certification.
- Desirable: Prince2, APM or equivalent project management qualification.
- Desirable: experience managing warehouse operations, logistics and technical asset management.
- We will have the successful candidate install, commission, operate and maintain LED display hardware.
- We will have the successful candidate diagnose and resolve hardware, software and networking issues relating to LED display systems.
- We will have the successful candidate lead technical installation teams on-site and remotely.
- We will have the successful candidate plan and manage multiple installation and maintenance projects simultaneously.
- We will have the successful candidate manage crew scheduling through to delivery.
- We will have the successful candidate manage technical teams, subcontractors and freelance engineers.
- We will have the successful candidate engage with clients and support the successful delivery of projects in demanding live sports environments.

We are offering a full-time, permanent role in the professional LED display industry, based on the road with extensive travel throughout the UK and internationally. The position offers a salary of £32,000 to £37,000 per year, along with free parking and on-site parking. We are looking for a highly motivated technical leader with strong LED hardware knowledge, installation expertise and live event operations experience to help us deliver reliable, high-quality projects in live sports and entertainment environments.
