Software Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Comprehensive understanding of API and microservice design patterns (REST and/or gRPC), with experience delivering and running services in production.
- Track record of building enterprise-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building event-driven services using Kafka or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab.
- Banking or regulated financial services technology experience is highly valued.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams is highly valued.
- Experience identifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues is highly valued.
- Design, develop, and enhance software that delivers key business and technology capabilities across our organisation.
- Help build a new strategic UI using standard design libraries and accessibility principles.
- Create reusable components that support future platform enhancements.
