Senior VMware Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £64,000 - 104,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience supporting VMware platforms in secure environments within the public sector.
• Proficiency in the design, configuration, administration, and support of VMware technologies, including ESXI, vSphere, HA configuration, vCenter, vSan & VmWare Aria.
• Experience in VMware Private Cloud setup and management using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX architecture and design.
• VMware qualifications including VCP-DCV, NSX or VCAP.
• Active security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain VMware infrastructure for our central government client.
• Design and configure VMware environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Administer and troubleshoot various VMware technologies and platforms.
• Manage VMware Private Cloud setup and NSX architecture.
• Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in virtualization and cloud technologies.

This role is based in Milton Keynes with a hybrid working model.
