Resilience and Continuity Technology Lead

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and at least 7 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and/or operational risk
• Experience across business continuity and disaster recovery, with a strong technical understanding
• Experience coordinating and delivering testing and exercises for business continuity, disaster recovery, and/or operational resilience in technical domains
• Prior experience in a global organization implementing standards, policies, and procedures
• Knowledge of and experience with global operational resilience regulations
• Highly developed relationship management and partnership skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
• Proven track record leading projects involving cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

• Drive our Global Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs engagement with our Engineering department, collaborating with technical leaders to align disaster recovery strategies with business continuity planning
• Advise on business continuity and disaster recovery technical solutions to help Engineering colleagues maintain operational resilience and continuity
• Identify, adopt, and implement industry best practices in business continuity and operational resilience
• Lead the development and delivery of business continuity testing and exercises with technical stakeholders
• Support the development and regular review of Business Impact Analysis and recovery strategy documentation
• Collaborate with subject matter experts in Engineering, the Chief Risk Office, Legal and Compliance, Operational Resilience, and other domains to understand enterprise-wide strategic objectives and resilience requirements
• Work with internal support and operations teams to identify and assess threats and risks that could escalate into operationally disruptive incidents

We are hiring a Resilience and Continuity Technology Lead in London, within our Accounting and Finance business area. Our Resilience and Continuity team designs and delivers Bloombergs Business Continuity Management program, supporting the firms ability to operate effectively through disruptions. The team is part of our Security Operations department, which oversees physical security, safety, enterprise resilience, and business continuity. Youll join a global team and work across Bloomberg, with a particular focus on technology operations and our Disaster Recovery program.
