Job Description

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We are looking for a proven MuleSoft Developer with hands-on development experience in MuleSoft, Java, and Salesforce.
  • We need strong experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, Mule flows, and runtime environment management.
  • We require familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and data transformation techniques.
  • We need experience with Salesforce integration patterns and best practices.
  • We require experience with security and encryption best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, API gateways, and encryption standards.
  • We are looking for excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • We need strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Desirable: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer, MuleSoft Certified Developer, or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Copado or Gearset.
  • Desirable: Understanding of enterprise architecture and other middleware tools.
  • We require the successful candidate to be SC cleared prior to appointment, with eligibility for UK Security Vetting and relevant residency requirements met.
Responsibilities:
  • We will have you develop, customise, and integrate Salesforce applications using MuleSoft to ensure seamless data connectivity across systems.
  • You will design and implement MuleSoft APIs and connectors for secure and efficient data integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
  • You will collaborate with business analysts, architects, Salesforce developers, and integration partners to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • You will troubleshoot, test, and enhance Salesforce and MuleSoft integrations to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • You will implement best practices for security, data management, and system performance.
  • You will conduct code reviews, document technical specifications, and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • You will stay current with the latest Salesforce and MuleSoft features, tools, and industry trends to improve integration strategies.

We are a global leading IT consultancy offering a remote MuleSoft Developer role with occasional travel to Belfast for a 6-month contract at circa £650 per day inside IR35. You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable solutions that enhance our Salesforce capabilities and broader enterprise architecture.
