eDV Application Support Engineer - Normanton

Salary: £125,000 - 150,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require active eDV clearance.
• We require proven experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in secure or complex environments.
• We require experience working with structured data formats such as JSON, XML and CSV.
• We require knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous systems and integrations.
• We would value familiarity with API definitions such as Swagger and OpenAPI 3.
• We would value scripting or development experience with Shell, Java, JavaScript, Python or Go.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build and maintain resilient physical and virtual infrastructure.
• We monitor system health, performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• We automate infrastructure and operational processes using tools such as Ansible.
• We provide technical consultancy on system integrations using REST APIs, SFTP, webhooks and other interfaces.
• We manage the full lifecycle of customer integrations, from implementation through to retirement.

We are hiring an experienced Application Support Engineer for a fully onsite role in Gloucestershire, working five days a week in a secure environment. This is a six-month rolling contract offered outside IR35, with a day rate of £500-£600. You will join a collaborative onsite team focused on designing, deploying and supporting infrastructure, working across physical and virtual systems in a hands-on engineering role.
