DV Cleared DevOps Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require active MOD DV Clearance.
• We require strong proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs.
• We require experience with Kubernetes cluster build and application delivery.
• We require application experience with Apache NiFi, Elastic ECK, and Artifactory.
• We require knowledge of secret management tools, particularly HashiCorp Vault.
• We require proficiency with operating systems, specifically Red Hat and Windows.
• We require a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• We require prior experience across all phases of the software product life cycle, from conception to retirement.
• We require experience using a range of automation tools.
• We require familiarity with software security methods.
• We require demonstrated experience with a wide variety of coding languages.
• We require strong decision-making and collaborative skills.
• We require a customer-oriented mindset and the ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.

Responsibilities:

• We collaborate with coworkers to conceptualise, develop, and release software.
• We conduct quality assurance to ensure that software meets prescribed guidelines.
• We roll out fixes and upgrades to software as needed.
• We secure software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities.
• We collect and review customer feedback to enhance user experience.
• We suggest workflow changes to improve efficiency and success.
• We pitch ideas for projects based on gaps in the market and technological advancements.
