Salary: £104,000 - 111,800 per year

Requirements:

• We have 3-5 years experience delivering Atlassian solutions.
• We have strong administration experience with Jira and Confluence.
• We have experience delivering Atlassian upgrades and migrations.
• We hold Atlassian certifications or Technical Migration accreditation.
• We have administration experience with Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• We have Jira Service Management configuration experience.
• We have knowledge of APIs, scripting and system integrations.
• We have experience supporting CI/CD tooling and automation.
• We have strong communication skills and experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

• We administer and support Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• We deliver platform upgrades, migrations and consolidations.
• We configure Jira Service Management, including queues, SLAs and automation.
• We perform technical health checks and platform optimisation.
• We develop integrations using APIs and scripting.
• We support CI/CD automation for application deployment and testing.
• We configure workflows, dashboards, custom fields and Marketplace add-ons.
• We work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable Atlassian solutions.

We are hiring an experienced Atlassian Technical Engineer for a major government technology programme in Telford on a hybrid basis, with 2 days per week onsite. This is a 6-month contract paying £430 per day inside IR35. The role requires BPSS and SC eligibility and UK nationality. You will join a large-scale enterprise Atlassian environment, working with modern DevOps tooling and Agile delivery teams to maintain, optimise and evolve critical collaboration platforms used across complex technical programmes.
