Product Owner

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a minimum of 2-3 years experience working as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment, managing backlogs, working with development teams, and building product roadmaps.
• We expect demonstrable experience and capability to successfully carry out the key elements of the Product Owner role.
• We need excellent communication skills, including strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• We value the ability to listen, understand, and build on others viewpoints.
• We look for enthusiasm for new technologies and innovation, and the ability to bring new ideas to our work and product roadmap.
• We need strong attention to detail, particularly when interpreting supplied information, understanding sources, and challenging where necessary.
• We expect comfort and ability to engage with customers to understand requirements and support functional or technical product discussions.
• We require relevant commercial experience and awareness to help set priorities for product investments and drive commercial product success.
• We need a good understanding of technology, digital services, and market trends.
• We expect the ability to communicate effectively with our team and external stakeholders.
• We require flexibility to travel if needed to customer and partner locations worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you understand customer needs, personas, and why they engage with our product.
• We will have you become an expert in the problems we solve and why they matter.
• We will have you run structured workshops with customers and internal stakeholders.
• We will have you define and build solutions to address customer needs.
• We will have you define the benefits our solutions deliver and how to measure success.
• We will have you understand our competition and how to stay ahead.
• We will have you launch products and features, including organising and enabling internal teams such as delivery, pre-sales, and onboarding to maximise impact.
• We will have you manage roadmap delivery and the product backlog.
• We will have you create actionable user stories for development teams.
• We will have you manage and prioritise the backlog to ensure goals are met.
• We will have you identify and measure the success criteria for each delivered feature.
• We will have you define and communicate release acceptance criteria for each product feature, including MVP criteria.
• We will have you measure, track, and improve non-functional aspects of the product.
• We will have you contribute to marketing campaigns and external posting when needed.
• We will have you support sales efforts with product demos and customer discussions on more technical aspects of the product as required.
