Senior Finance Consultant D365 Finance & Operations
Job Description
Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year
Requirements:- We require a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or an IT-related field.
- We prefer a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
- We desire Microsoft D365 Finance certification.
- We require strong experience across D365 Finance modules, including GL, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, and Tax.
- We require deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including R2R, P2P, O2C, and A2D.
- We require the ability to define business process maps and translate them into system solutions.
- We require a high-level understanding of D365 architecture and ecosystem, including integrations, data, and Azure DevOps.
- We require experience delivering multiple end-to-end D365 implementations.
- We require strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- We require excellent presentation, workshop facilitation, and demonstration skills.
- We require proven ability to lead distributed teams and complex programmes.
- We require effective risk management, decision-making, and escalation handling.
- We require self-driven working with autonomy and accountability.
- We require strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- We require a collaborative and adaptable approach, with experience working across global teams.
- We require comfort working in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
- We own the end-to-end Finance solution across D365 F&O programmes.
- We translate business requirements into scalable, standardised solutions aligned to Microsoft best practice.
- We lead Finance design decisions and contribute to Design Authority and Architecture governance.
- We champion adoption of out-of-the-box functionality over customisation.
- We are accountable for Finance workstream delivery across scope, quality, timeline, and budget.
- We lead Fit-Gap, functional design, configuration, testing, data migration, and training activities.
- We identify and manage delivery and functional risks, ensuring proactive mitigation and escalation.
- We collaborate across multi-disciplinary onshore and offshore teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
- We act as the primary Finance contact for senior client stakeholders.
- We lead workshops, solution walkthroughs, and demonstrations.
- We support and drive pre-sales, including estimation, solution shaping, and proposals.
- We provide Finance transformation advisory, including process optimisation and solution selection.
- We mentor and develop Managers and Consultants.
- We drive capability development, including emerging areas such as AI, RPA, and Power Platform.
- We contribute to reusable assets, methodologies, and knowledge development.
- We support training and adoption initiatives for both internal teams and clients.
