Summer Intern Security Consultant

Salary: £30,500 - 50,500 per year

Requirements:

• We require that you have obtained, or are predicted to obtain, a 2:2 in your Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM subject.
• All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
• Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting.
• For some roles, applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required.

Responsibilities:

• We research cyber threats and strategies to defend against them.
• We investigate security breaches and incidents.
• We support information security governance and management.
• We assist in delivering security improvement, remediation, and hardening programmes.
• We develop and review security policies and processes.
• We carry out application and system-level risk assessments.
• We analyse security technologies and develop innovative solutions.

We are partnering directly with BAE Systems Digital Intelligence to hire a Summer Intern Digital Intelligence Security Consultant in London. This is a 12-week internship starting on 21st June 2027, with a salary of £28,500 pro-rata.
