Quant Developer

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial Python development experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a similar technical discipline
• Experience designing robust, scalable software
• Understanding of data processing, storage, and analysis
• Experience with modern software engineering practices, including Git and Agile
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with highly technical stakeholders
• Desirable: experience with C++ or KDB+/q, quantitative or financial engineering, CI/CD pipelines, logging and monitoring platforms, database technologies, and software architecture or solution design

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Quantitative Researchers to build software supporting research and trading
• Develop scalable Python applications and workflows
• Design high-performance solutions for processing and analysing large datasets
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build reusable software components
• Take ownership from design through deployment and ongoing improvement
• Support business-critical systems within a modern engineering environment
