Job Description

Salary: £25,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Professional experience in frontend web development, with expert knowledge of React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
  • A deep understanding of modern frontend architecture, including state management, component patterns, and hooks.
  • Experience with web testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress and CSS-in-JS libraries such as Vanilla Extract or Emotion.
  • A solid grasp of CI/CD processes, version control with Git, and how backend APIs like GraphQL integrate with frontend systems.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience contributing to a design system such as Storybook is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Technically design and develop new product features using modern frontend technologies, writing high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to define user experiences and technical requirements, ensuring we build features that solve customer problems.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and team planning to drive our technical direction forward.
  • Contribute to our collaborative web engineering culture by participating in the Web Chapter.
  • Mentor junior colleagues in modern best practices.
