Senior Private Cloud Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience with Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience working in a DevOps or SRE environment.
- Programming experience in Python or a similar language.
- Ability to understand and debug compute, networking, and storage issues in large production environments.
- Exposure to modern cloud-native principles.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Exposure to large-scale or multi-tenant environments.
- Exposure to GitOps-driven and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or FluxCD.
- Contribution to open source projects.
- Design, build, and operate a secure OpenStack environment.
- Implement systems using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop automation and tooling to build and extend the platform.
- Support and enhance infrastructure CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, identify, and fix issues across compute, storage, and networking.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to support frictionless workflows for our end users.
- Contribute to 24/7 platform reliability, scalability, and performance tuning.
