Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Proficiency with SAP Datasphere, including space design, data flows, replication flows, and semantic modelling
  • Experience designing greenfield platforms from scratch rather than migrating existing systems
  • Strong data modelling skills, including fact and dimension design, semantic layers, and governance
  • Ability to explain data architecture clearly to Finance and business stakeholders
  • Ability to review and challenge systems integrator technical designs for long-term supportability
  • Working knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) as a consumption layer
  • Understanding of data governance and how to implement it within projects
  • Ability to design complex low-level design documentation for data, BI, and cloud solutions
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA Finance data structures, including the Universal Journal and cost and profit centres
  • Experience in a RISE with SAP or clean core environment
  • Knowledge of integrating non-SAP data into Datasphere
  • Exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and its integration architecture
  • SAP certification in Datasphere or BW/4HANA
  • Awareness of Joule and embedded AI capabilities within BDC
Responsibilities:
  • Join our Finance Transformation Programme to replace our BW/BPC landscape with SAP Datasphere and Business Data Cloud, using SAC as the reporting and planning layer as part of our S/4HANA transformation
  • Work across the programme from greenfield platform design during the Explore phase through post-go-live stabilisation
  • Focus on the data platform layer as part of a two-person analytics team
  • Develop standards, documentation, and an approach for gathering data requirements
  • Ensure requirements are understood and deliver reports
  • Help evolve our work from basic reporting to insights and analytics that support business intelligence and decision-making
