IT Manager (Site Lead)

Salary: £67,500 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experienced hands-on IT generalist / Site IT Lead
• Comfortable being the person everyone turns to and working with a high degree of autonomy
• Ideally experience supporting a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment
• Previously operated as a sole or lead IT resource
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, infrastructure and end-user support
• Confidence to manage external suppliers and deliver projects
• Self-starter able to assess what is required, build relationships and take ownership of transforming the sites IT capability

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of IT across the Ellesmere Port site
• Support users across the operation as the primary IT presence on site
• Work closely with Group IT in the US
• Assess the current environment and establish priorities
• Implement the infrastructure, systems, processes and standards needed for a modern manufacturing site
• Manage Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, infrastructure and cyber security
• Handle vendors, projects, business continuity and support for industrial/OT technology
• Shape the IT roadmap and help leave a legacy for the site
• Transform, modernise and professionalise the technology environment
