Job Description
Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year
Requirements:- 10–15+ years of experience
- Strong experience with AWS data platforms
- Experience with Kafka, Amazon MSK, and Kinesis
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Amazon EKS / Kubernetes
- Experience developing Terraform modules and IaC automation
- Experience managing AWS VPC, IAM, security groups, NAT, load balancers, and EC2
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Experience with monitoring, logging, security, and operational best practices
- Experience with Linux, Bash, Python, and Dynatrace
- Experience collaborating with architects, developers, and business stakeholders
- Lead and mentor our Data Streaming Engineering team
- Design and support scalable AWS data platforms
- Manage Kafka, Amazon MSK, and Kinesis
- Administer and troubleshoot Amazon EKS / Kubernetes

We are hiring a Data Platform Lead for a 1-year fixed-term contract with the potential to extend. This is a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, UK, with three days per week onsite. The role is in the banking domain and is available for an ASAP start. We are looking for someone to lead our data streaming engineering efforts and support our AWS-based streaming platform.
