Developer Client Lead Senior Architect

Salary: £31,000 - 71,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require UK-based candidates.
• We require RIBA Part 3 qualification, or equivalent, with 5+ years of PQE.
• We require experience leading residential projects, both developer-led and private, from feasibility through to site.
• We require a track record of building long-term relationships with repeat SME developer clients.
• We require confidence using AutoCAD and Revit; SketchUp and Adobe Suite are useful.
• We require working knowledge of planning and Building Control legislation, plus the legal, financial, and time constraints of developer-led work.
• We require the ability to mentor junior staff and represent the practice at client and consultant events.

Responsibilities:

• We serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of SME developer clients.
• We lead schemes from feasibility through planning, technical design, tender, and delivery on site.
• We run two to four live projects at a time, each with a small team of Part 2, Part 3, or technologist staff.
• We manage programme, fee, and quality across our projects.
• We report directly to the Design & Operations Director.
• We help grow the developer side of the pipeline through repeat instructions and new introductions.

We are hiring a senior architect or technologist to take ownership of our property developer-led portfolio of clients. This is a hybrid role based in Clapham, London, with a salary of £50,000–£60,000 depending on experience.
