Senior Node Developer

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Commercial server-side development experience
• Strong NodeJS and TypeScript experience
• Experience working with microservices architectures
• Unit and integration testing experience
• SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
• An understanding of CI/CD principles
• Experience with NestJS would be beneficial
• Experience with AWS or another cloud platform would be beneficial
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or NATS would be beneficial
• Experience with gRPC would be beneficial
• Experience with OAuth2 or AWS Cognito would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing scalable server-side applications using NodeJS and TypeScript
• Taking backend features from design through to production-ready delivery
• Building and maintaining microservices
• Writing unit and integration tests to maintain software quality and reliability
• Working within established development, documentation and deployment processes
• Contributing to improvements across coding standards and engineering practices
• Working collaboratively as part of an Agile software development team
