IT Analyst

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and application support
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualisation
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs and firewall technologies
• Experience with backup, storage and endpoint management solutions
• Experience working within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similarly regulated environment would be highly desirable
• An understanding of GxP, GMP, GAMP 5, Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11 would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of IT service management and ITIL principles
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain servers
• Manage backups
• Support Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Manage application configuration
• Troubleshoot application issues
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems and changes in line with ITIL principles
• Maintain SLA performance
• Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration records
• Ensure incidents and changes are fully documented and appropriately managed
• Provide a professional and customer-focused IT support service across the site
• Support validated and regulated computer systems throughout their lifecycle
• Participate in user requirements gathering, risk assessments, validation planning and test execution
• Maintain documentation
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
• Ensure data integrity, system security and compliance requirements are maintained
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives and application deployments
• Assist with IT budgeting, procurement, licensing and contract renewals

We are recruiting for an experienced IT Analyst to join our IT team at a busy manufacturing site in Haverhill. This is a full-time position based in Haverhill, Suffolk, with hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm and 36 hours per week. The salary is £40,000 per annum.
