Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)
Job Description
Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with proven experience building and supporting software applications.
- We need hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, plus supporting technologies like ArgoCD and Helm.
- We expect strong familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, and the ELK stack.
- We require proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure as our core cloud platform, with familiarity in AWS, GCP, or other commercial cloud services.
- We value experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and AWS CloudFormation, along with Infrastructure as Code approaches.
- We are seeking experience designing and implementing scalable systems capable of handling high loads.
- We need excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, along with effective communication skills to explain technical concepts.
- We require proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Node.JS, or Go, with a focus on automation and scripting.
- We expect strong Linux experience and a sound understanding of core networking and best security principles.
- We need hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale systems, with experience in GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- We develop, manage, configure, and automate systems and services across Azure as our primary cloud platform and AWS as our secondary cloud platform.
- We collaborate within agile, specialized teams on a diverse range of projects.
- We contribute expertise independently or by fostering fresh ideas that move our work forward.
- We prioritize work effectively to align with broader organizational goals, address immediate challenges, and support collective progress.
