Electronics/Firmware Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in analogue and digital circuit design
• Embedded C programming experience with low-level hardware knowledge
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, signal generators, loads, and other test equipment
• Hands-on prototyping skills, including soldering and wiring
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Degree-qualified with industry experience, or significant equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities:

• Design electronic hardware, including schematics, PCB layout, and component selection
• Develop embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems
• Create wiring diagrams, BoMs, and technical documentation
• Carry out testing, fault finding, repair, and product support
• Support onsite commissioning and customer installations
• Travel internationally to customer and company sites, with potential offshore work
