Infrastructure Analyst

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Solid foundational knowledge of networking and virtualisation
• Practical experience supporting IT infrastructure
• Comfortable investigating technical problems independently
• Able to work calmly during incidents
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and suppliers
• Beneficial experience with technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Nutanix, VMware or Hyper-V
• Suitable for someone looking to progress into an infrastructure position or currently at an early to mid Infrastructure Analyst/Engineer level

Responsibilities:

• Support LAN, WLAN, VPN and wider network infrastructure
• Maintain virtualised server infrastructure
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents across multiple platforms
• Monitor services and identify recurring issues
• Support infrastructure changes, upgrades and improvement projects
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and third-party providers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
• Take on greater ownership of projects and technical improvements over time

We are recruiting an Infrastructure Analyst to join our small infrastructure and networking team supporting a multi-site technology environment. This is a hands-on role combining infrastructure support, troubleshooting, incident resolution and project delivery, with work across core networking and virtual infrastructure. We offer a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office, based in London or Ipswich, and the role includes occasional travel between offices and satellite locations. This position would suit someone looking to develop their infrastructure career with greater technical ownership and project exposure.
