Senior Data Engineer

Salary: £41,600 - 45,760 per year

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS or ECS card
• Proven experience in structured cabling installations
• Experience installing containment systems
• Experience working at height and using cherry pickers/MEWPs
• Excel Cat6A installation experience
• Ability to conduct testing using Fluke DSX testers
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification is desirable
• Previous experience supervising teams on commercial installation projects is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support structured cabling installation activities
• Install and maintain containment systems
• Complete Excel Cat6A data cabling installations
• Carry out testing and certification using Fluke DSX equipment
• Operate and work from cherry pickers and access equipment where required
• Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications and health and safety requirements
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved

We are partnering with a leading provider of technology solutions within the heavy industrial sector. Our expertise spans structured cabling, IP surveillance systems, cyber-security, IT managed services, and connectivity solutions. This is a hands-on supervisory role supporting the completion of a key installation project at our Newcastle city centre site. The initial contract is expected to last approximately 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements. Please note that there is no onsite parking available and no parking or travel allowance is provided.
