IT Manager

Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with an engineering and problem-solving mindset.
• We want someone who is technically curious, practical, and strong at solving problems.
• You should have genuine hands-on Linux experience and a strong interest in developing it further.
• You do not need to be a Linux specialist, but Linux should not be completely new territory.
• You will likely have broad hands-on IT or engineering experience and be comfortable working through unfamiliar technical problems.
• We are especially interested in what you have built, fixed, changed, or improved, rather than a conventional IT career path.

Responsibilities:

• Take broader ownership of our IT environment as we scale.
• Improve onboarding, troubleshooting, infrastructure, security, and resilience.
• Work with engineers on operational systems and Linux-based infrastructure.
• Automate manual processes and fix issues that are not working well.
• Handle normal day-to-day IT work.
• Investigate problems and understand the underlying cause rather than just escalating.
• Help shape how our IT environment evolves for the next stage of growth.
