Tableau Expert

Salary: £53,000 - 93,000 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Prep, and Server/Cloud
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases or data warehouses such as BigQuery
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, visual best practices, and data storytelling
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
• Typically 7 years of professional experience in data visualization or business intelligence
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and publish interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Server
• Connect to data sources, write SQL queries, and perform data modelling, cleaning, and transformation
• Optimize dashboard loading speeds, manage Tableau extracts (Hyper files), and troubleshoot data issues
• Meet with business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into visual solutions
