Sr Business Intelligence Analyst - Commercial Finance Automation

Salary: £70,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 3 to 5 years of experience with a masters degree, or 5 to 7 years of experience with a bachelors degree, in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• We ideally look for exposure to Finance and/or Sales Operations, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
• We need strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• We require process mapping, agile methodologies, and project management skills.
• We need the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• We value an AI-native mindset with a proven track record of using Generative AI to automate manual workflows, summarize complex reports, and build self-service analytical tools.
• We prefer AI, Data Science, SQL, and Python skills.
• We need advanced Google Sheets and Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models.
• We require the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.
• We value experience with CRM, planning, and ERP systems such as Salesforce.com, Clari, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

• We provide critical financial and analytical decision support to our EMEA Sales organizations.
• We focus on the financial health of our Commercial Financing Sales business, including Deals Desk and PAN Financial Services.
• We deliver top-line reporting and OPEX analysis and forecasting.
• We use Generative AI to drive process improvements, automate complex financial workflows, and enhance reporting and analytics.
• We provide our Commercial Finance leader with insights and analytics that translate raw data into the story behind business performance, including risks and opportunities.
• We apply problem-solving, agile methodologies, and Generative AI to remove bottlenecks, reduce friction, and optimize processes.
• We draft and present compelling business cases for solutions, including relevant investment.
• We lead and execute cross-functional projects and programs with IT, Finance, Sales, and Sales Operations to optimize processes and tools and build new global solutions.
• We collaborate with the Deal Desk and PAN Financial Solutions teams to map workflows and identify bottlenecks.
• We support Commercial Finance in designing, building, and executing long-term strategic plans.
