Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: £48,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, or Golang
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling, such as Terraform
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with containerized applications
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
• Experience with relational databases and other data stores, particularly high availability and performance optimization
• Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles
• Fluency in English
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Experience with Terraform automation tools such as Terragrunt or Atlantis is an advantage
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or GKE is an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automation for new and existing infrastructure
• Create tools that are easy to understand and maintain
• Use software development skills to automate operational tasks and reduce toil
• Help ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Work closely with software engineers and data scientists
• Contribute to technical design, architecture, and technical decisions
• Build new platform components from initial design through deployment
• Support system health and stability through on-call rotations and incident management
• Maintain and improve platform systems, and support audits and compliance

We offer a base salary range of 62,400–93,600, with compensation determined by role level, location, market data, experience, interview assessment, budgets, and internal parity.
