Senior Solutions Architect – UK Public Sector, Central Government

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Knowledge of cloud architecture
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients
• Experience within a specific technology domain, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics
• Eligibility and willingness to undergo UK Security Clearance
• Cloud technology certification, such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering
• Experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization

Responsibilities:

• Own the technical relationship with customers and make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures
• Advocate for customers internally and share their needs to inform improvements to the AWS platform and the roadmap for AWS features and services
• Help shape the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others
• Implement or document cloud-native reference architectures with the worldwide AWS Solutions Architect community
• Create and share best practices, technical content, and reference architectures, including white papers, code samples, and blog posts
• Educate customers and promote AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences
