Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Platform/DevOps)

Salary: £41,509 - 58,044 per year

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge in Terraform
• Expert knowledge in CI/CD tooling (e.g., Concourse)
• Expert knowledge in Cloud Technology Principles (preferably AWS)
• Strong practical experience in Containerisation (Docker)
• Strong practical experience in Unix/Linux
• Working knowledge of Ansible and Packer
• Ability to lead on various streams of work
• Ability to solve complex problems and provide technical support
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Commitment to adherence to best practice guides

Responsibilities:

• Deliver infrastructure and tooling to support continuous delivery
• Focus on user and service needs, delivering value through improvements and automation
• Build, administer, support, and maintain infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure work
• Ensure services are integrated and delivered as required
• Work with technical architects to translate designs into operations
• Design and develop infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
• Lead initiatives for non-functional requirements like availability and performance
• Transform technical requirements into effective DevOps toolchain
