Job Description
Salary: £160,000 - 200,000 per year
Requirements:- We require a bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
- We require 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- We require experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- We require experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- We require eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC-level).
- Preferred: experience selling technical solutions in one or more of the following areas: Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, Data Management, Data Analytics, Cloud AI, Networking, Migrations, Security.
- Preferred: experience driving the entire sales cycle, including defining the delivery and consumption plan and transitioning it for execution.
- Preferred: experience building long-term technical strategies to uncover new workloads with customers.
- Preferred: experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
- Preferred: experience with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and pen testing.
- We develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participating in planning and supporting targeted sales motions.
- We combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to demonstrate the value of Google Cloud Platform across the portfolio through complex demos, pilots, and in-depth workshops.
- We architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers.
- We lead the technical engagement through the solution phase.
- We facilitate the post-sales transition by supporting pricing activities and transitioning the final delivery plan to implementation teams.
- We maintain awareness of progress against the delivery plan and provide support to cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.
- We partner with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud for customers in the public sector.
- We serve as the customers primary technical partner and trusted advisor.
- We engage in technical-led conversations to understand business issues.
- We drive the technical win and define delivery and consumption plans.
- We engage with technical and business leaders and present practical, useful solutions on Google Cloud.
- We focus on identifying, pursuing, and winning new business workloads.
- We blend sales expertise, market knowledge, and direct technical engagement to show the value of the Google Cloud portfolio.
