Python Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, SQL, FastAPI, BigQuery, MongoDB and GCP.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud deployment and data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing and production support.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SAP ERP experience is desirable.
• Manufacturing sector experience is desirable.
• Exposure to AI, automation and data warehousing solutions is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support internal applications, APIs, integrations and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across web applications, databases and cloud platforms.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD and release processes.
• Support the ongoing development of reporting, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.

We are recruiting for an experienced Python Developer to join a successful and growing manufacturing business in Birmingham, working on site. This is a hands-on role where you will help develop, support and enhance business-critical applications, data platforms, integrations and automation solutions. We offer a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where you can shape our technology roadmap and make a significant impact.
