AI Architect / AI Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft Agentic AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Strong understanding of multi-agent architectures, MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent-to-Agent) communication, RAG architectures, and enterprise AI governance.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with Workday.
• Experience defining AI operating models and governance frameworks.
• Ability to engage with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong consulting and customer-facing skills.
• Banking or Financial Services experience is desirable.
• Microsoft AI certifications are desirable.
• Experience with enterprise security, compliance, and risk frameworks is desirable.
• Experience leading AI transformation programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise architecture for Microsoft Copilot and agentic AI solutions.
• Design scalable multi-agent architectures using Copilot Studio and Azure AI services.
• Establish integration patterns between the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem and Workday.
• Design MCP and A2A communication frameworks for collaborative AI agents.
• Define AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI controls.
• Lead technical discovery workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Provide architectural oversight throughout solution delivery.
• Support knowledge transfer, solution adoption, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, security teams, and product owners.
