Principal Identity and Access Management Lead
Job Description
Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience with IAM and PAM tools such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Delinea or similar is essential.
- Experience leading a team of IAM Analysts.
- Experience working across technology, architecture, and business teams.
- Experience designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing IAM and PAM solutions.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive-level reporting.
- Own and drive our enterprise IAM vision, roadmap, and strategy, ensuring identity security capabilities support our organisational goals and regulatory expectations.
- Lead the selection, deployment, integration, and ongoing optimisation of IAM and PAM solutions.
- Champion identity governance and access management best practices across our organisation, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead the design and operation of robust IAM and PAM controls that protect our critical systems, data, and business services.
- Drive a culture of least privilege, accountability, and access governance through effective control frameworks and stakeholder engagement.
- Deliver insightful reporting and executive-level briefings on IAM risk, compliance, maturity, and control effectiveness.

We are an established organisation embarking on a significant digital transformation programme and are seeking a Principal Identity & Access Lead to shape and deliver our enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy. This role plays a pivotal part in protecting critical systems, data, and business services by leading the evolution of our IAM capability. Working closely with our CISO and senior stakeholders, you will help design, implement, and continuously enhance IAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions that strengthen resilience, support regulatory compliance, and enable secure business transformation. The position is based in London or Milton Keynes, with two days on site, and offers a salary of 75–85k plus a 15% bonus.
