Part Time IT Trainer
Job Description
Salary: £22,500 - 22,500 per year
Requirements:- Previous experience in an IT Trainer, Systems Trainer or Technology Training role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence to deliver training to individuals and groups at all levels.
- Experience creating engaging training materials and learning content.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Deliver IT training to staff, including new starter inductions.
- Conduct one-to-one training sessions, both in person and remotely.
- Deliver departmental and group training workshops.
- Regularly visit office locations to provide floor-walking support and guidance.
- Arrange external training courses and venues where required.
- Develop, maintain and administer the companys Learning Management System.
- Create and update training materials, including user documentation, video guides, quizzes and assessments, surveys, and feedback tools.
- Work closely with departmental Training Buddies to continuously improve training programmes and documentation.
- Ensure training content remains up to date with evolving systems and business processes.
- Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities, becoming a subject matter expert in new technologies and processes.
- Collaborate with IT Developers on new projects and system enhancements to ensure training materials are ready ahead of launches.
- Assist with the creation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) checklists for new initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training records and reporting for HR.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant professional and regulatory obligations.
