Salary: £28,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

  • We have previous experience using Messaging (Exchange Platform).
  • We have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly and make decisions that meet customer objectives.

  • We have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • We have proven experience of driving automation of processes and tasks.
  • We have proven experience in managing complex enterprise-level infrastructure solutions and services.
  • We have proven experience in supporting Messaging at an enterprise level.
  • We have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • We have strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
  • We have deep expertise of Microsoft Server Platforms and MS Products, including Windows 2012 to 2025, Active Directory, domain controllers, DHCP, Windows failover clustering, and Windows file shares.
  • We have understanding of RHEL, IDM and Ansible.
  • We have excellent understanding of DNS.
  • We have understanding of Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
  • We have understanding of virtualization hypervisors, AHV and ESXi.
  • We are available out of hours to support maintenance and changes.
  • We have knowledge of security controls, including encryption and access management, to safeguard infrastructure and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • We are responsible for the delivery, deployment, maintenance, support and optimisation of our core IT infrastructure.
  • We ensure that standard products and services are implemented efficiently and that systems remain reliable, secure, compliant and performant throughout their lifecycle.
  • We provide 2nd and 3rd line support to business escalations via the ServiceNow system.
  • We ensure all server systems are available and meet our company requirements.
  • We ensure hardware and software fault calls are placed, managed and resolved according to relevant maintenance contracts and in line with problem management processes.
  • We build proactive and constructive professional relationships with other teams and departments.
  • We provide day-to-day support of Microsoft Server Platforms and Microsoft products, including Windows, Active Directory, Exchange SE/Online, Exchange Online, archiving, Proofpoint and backup technologies such as Rubrik.
