Salary: £27,500 - 27,500 per year

Requirements:
  • We require an unrestricted right to work in the UK for the duration of the programme and employment, demonstrated through a UK passport, settled or pre-settled status, or indefinite leave to remain.
  • You must be willing to commute or relocate to a client deployment location in the UK, including London, Sheffield, Birmingham or Norwich.
  • To be available for client deployment, you must successfully complete the Academy challenges, achieve two industry certifications (Google Cloud Platform Generative AI Leader Certification and Python Institute Certified Entry-Level Data Analyst with Python), and complete a competency interview with our team.
  • We do not require a traditional technology background or formal experience. We value curiosity, commitment, aptitude and potential.
  • Our admissions process includes an application form, online maths, foundational Python and written challenges, a screening interview, and a final interview demonstrating technical knowledge, problem-solving approach and readiness for the Academy.
Responsibilities:
  • You will take part in our 10-week, full-time Data and AI Academy, building practical skills through industry-led learning and hands-on projects.
  • You will develop knowledge in AI and data essentials, core insight analytics, programmatic data wrangling, leading change, agentic orchestration and consulting skills.
  • You will complete the programme challenges and required industry certifications.
  • After graduation, you will interview for client consulting roles, with our support as you prepare.
  • As a consultant, you may be deployed in roles such as Data Analyst, Data Scientist, AI & Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
  • During client placements, you will work with a dedicated Delivery Manager who provides ongoing support, technical upskilling and mentoring.

We are Digital Futures, a mission-driven, AI-first organisation focused on unlocking potential and creating opportunities in technology. Our Data and AI Academy combines structured training, certifications and industry experience, and we cover the cost of the required certifications. Training is delivered almost entirely remotely and runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, beginning 26 October 2026, with a two-week break from 21 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 and training resuming 4 January 2027. After successful completion of the Academy and passing a client interview, you will join us as a permanent, full-time consultant, earning £27,500 per year plus benefits once deployed. The training period is unpaid. Benefits include company events, a company pension, employee discounts, an employee mentoring programme, a referral programme, relocation assistance and work from home. Client work is in person. We are recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work and have received a Princess Royal Training Award for our training programmes.
