Cloud Developer (AI)

Salary: £31,000 - 71,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or C#, with experience using AI APIs and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in developing AI-enabled technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional and globally dispersed teams.
• Ability to quickly adopt and apply new cloud and AI technologies.
• High attention to detail and commitment to secure, reliable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services, incorporating AI features where appropriate.
• Ensure cloud and AI solutions meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Work with domain and solution architects to design and refine cloud and AI solutions.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud and AI components.
• Stay current with emerging cloud and AI technologies, including serverless, microservices, and new AI frameworks.
• Document cloud and AI solutions, including integrations and data flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud and AI applications.
• Conduct functional, performance, and resilience testing of cloud and AI components.
• Enhance solutions based on metrics, feedback, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum to deliver product increments aligned with Sprint goals and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions and proofs of concept to address client needs.

We are hiring a permanent Cloud Developer (AI Focus) for a remote role, with hybrid working involving a mix of office and home working. The salary is £50,000–£60,000, plus company benefits, a flexible benefits scheme, and two paid volunteering days per year.
