IT Helpdesk Advisor - Dutch Speaker

Requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organised, reliable and methodical
• Previous call centre, customer service or technical support experience is beneficial
• Previous IT support experience is advantageous but not essential
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Confident communicating with customers by telephone and email
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Genuine interest in technology and developing a career in IT support

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line IT support to external customers via telephone and email
• Support Dutch-speaking customers professionally and effectively
• Log, track and accurately update support tickets
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and network-related issues
• Escalate more complex technical issues where required
• Guide customers through step-by-step technical solutions
• Maintain accurate support documentation and knowledge base records
• Collaborate with colleagues across the service desk
• Support continuous improvement across the service desk
• Deliver consistently high customer service and build positive client relationships

We are partnering with a specialist IT company expanding its support team at a modern service office in Peterborough. This temporary-to-permanent role offers full training and ongoing support, with career progression opportunities in a growing IT team. The position pays £14.22 per hour, with overtime at time and a half, weekly pay and Temp of the Month reward vouchers. The role is 37.5 hours per week, with flexible shift rotation between 7am and 7pm and occasional weekends. The start date is immediate.
