SAP Transformation (S/4HANA) Consultant

Salary: £24,000 - 59,000 per year

Requirements:

• Deep functional expertise in SAP Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Sales, or technical expertise in areas such as ABAP, Integration, Security, or Basis, covering one or two SAP ERP skill areas.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, EWM, TM, Business AI, LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
• Hands-on SAP consulting experience and at least four full-lifecycle SAP project implementations.
• Experience leading teams on SAP projects and exposure to at least two S/4HANA project types: Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid.
• Experience in transformation preparation or Phase 0 activities, and proficiency with SAP toolchain usage or administration.
• Valid SAP certification in relevant skill areas.
• Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to engage effectively with middle management.
• Ability to develop solution proposals and estimate effort accurately.
• Flexibility, team spirit, and a results-driven mindset.
• Exposure to multiple SAP modules or skill areas is preferred.
• SAP or industry-specific publications or thought leadership are preferred; patents, intellectual property, or external research publications are an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP solutions across end-to-end implementations and transformation programs.
• Drive client engagements from Phase 0 through execution, including Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid S/4HANA projects.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define roadmaps, assess readiness, and develop transformation strategies.
• Use SAP tools for implementation, administration, and optimization.
• Prepare solution proposals and effort estimates, and contribute to RFP responses.
• Mentor and manage project teams, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to timelines.
• Represent us in client meetings with professionalism and strong interpersonal communication.
• Stay current with SAP innovations and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Set and govern SAP architecture vision across the service line, aligning it with client business strategy, the SAP roadmap—including S/4HANA, BTP, and RISE—and enterprise standards while balancing innovation, scalability, and cost.
• Lead and mentor the SAP architect community, establishing best practices, reference architectures, and quality gates across delivery, presales, and transformation programs.
• Advise C-suite and senior stakeholders, shape end-to-end transformation strategies, influence deal architecture and value propositions, and reduce risk in large, complex SAP programs.
