Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Ability to work in changing environments using an iterative and adaptive approach
• Solid understanding of testing best practice and the development lifecycle, with experience applying this knowledge
• Ability to adapt testing processes to optimise delivery outcomes
• Experience applying risk-based testing techniques
• Competence using multiple test management tools
• Ability to negotiate timelines and other delivery metrics across the product lifecycle
• Ability to motivate and lead a team of testers and report accurately to management
• Strong planning aptitude
• Successful candidates must complete a criminality check and a credit check before starting work

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality testing activities across your workstream, ensuring solutions are reliable, robust, and meet user needs
• Build collaborative relationships with delivery teams, stakeholders, and business colleagues to support successful outcomes
• Provide testing expertise throughout the delivery lifecycle, including planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting
• Work with Delivery Leads to define testing approaches, environments, data requirements, and delivery plans
• Identify opportunities to improve testing practices, processes, and quality standards
• Support and mentor colleagues, model best practice, and help foster a secure, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

You will spend 50% of your working week in Reading, Cardiff, Havant, or Perth. The salary is £50,964–£60,899, plus benefits.
