Job Description

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience supporting data science projects in a consulting environment.
  • 4+ years of experience participating in projects focused on one or more of predictive analytics, data design, statistics, AI/ML, or ML Ops.
  • 3+ years of experience using Python and/or R to analyze disparate datasets.
  • 1+ year of hands-on Gen AI/LLM development experience.
  • A masters degree is preferred; an undergraduate or graduate degree is also preferred.
  • Experience with statistics, data visualization, data wrangling, and dynamic model tuning.
  • Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised machine-learning approaches, such as regression, classification, and clustering.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work with minimal support.
  • A dependable, collaborative approach, excellent work ethic, flexibility, and commitment to success.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive data insights to uncover business opportunities and revenue streams, applying an understanding of business growth areas and relevant data.
  • Identify emerging analytics trends, data needs, and repeatable analytics solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop hypotheses and analytical models that answer impactful business questions.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets using appropriate machine-learning methods.
  • Contribute data science, artificial intelligence, and machine-learning expertise to projects.
  • Break down complex business problems, develop solutions, and deliver work with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research, develop points of view, and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build client relationships and understand project work and challenges.
  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets of varying sizes and complexity, including processing large data streams in distributed computing environments.
  • Implement batch and real-time model scoring.
  • Assemble complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Apply business knowledge to analyze data, develop reports, and solve problems; perform ad hoc analyses as business needs arise.
  • Participate in analyzing and resolving information-flow and content issues with data stakeholders.
  • Bring innovative, resourceful, and creative approaches to achieve successful client outcomes.
